Reporting infringement
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, you can file a notice under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Send it via the contact page with the subject line “DMCA Notice”.
Your notice must include
- Your full name and contact details (email and phone).
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on this site where the material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
Valid notices are reviewed promptly. Infringing material is removed or disabled, and repeat infringers lose access to community channels. Incomplete notices cannot be acted on and will be returned for correction.
If your own content was removed following a notice you believe was mistaken, you may reply with a counter-notice containing the same six items above plus your consent to the jurisdiction of your local courts. Removed material may then be restored.
